Rylee and Buck through the years!

It's truly amazing how Buck has touched our lives. He has been so good to all of us through the years. Rylee has spent all  the years of her life watching and learning from Buck. She can probably tell you which horse he is riding or working with on any of his videos.

McGinnis Meadows cattle and Guest Ranch is where it all started for us back in 2001.

Shayne Jackson is the owner of this fabulous Ranch that specializes in the Vaquero style of Horsemanship as taught by Buck Brannaman. What a great place to go and work on your Horsemanship skills! They have awesome horses or you can bring your own. Careful though, they took away my spurs, my running martingale, and the bit I was using. They even took away my bridle for a few days because my hands were too busy... and they told me my horse was barely halter broke and didn't even know how to lead. Wow! All that was a bit overwhelming, but hard not to want to learn more about when you could see such great results. We hit the first Buck Clinic we could find and have been going ever since. We had to be spectators the first couple clinics we attended as Buck's Clinics were full for participants way back in 2001. Ricky Quinn Jr. was a wrangler at the Ranch while we were there. We are so Thankful that he took the time to help us see the importance of how the horse feels. He and Shayne spent many hours working with us and made sure we were aware of what Buck has to offer. It truly was a "Life changing experience"!
