World Renowned Clinician Buck Brannaman is returning to the Willamette Valley summer 2023 to share more of his knowledge with us. We are very excited to have him back again this year. It's great to have the opportunity to share him with many more people. Watching this man ride in person is something you don't want to miss. Make note of how his horses carry themselves. They are proud!
Buck's classes are often "life changing" for participants & spectators alike!
We have plenty of spectator seats available for all!

Thank you for your interest in Buck's Clinic. There will be 2 classes all 3 days with 25 riders plus sponsors in each of them. There is no exact schedule as to what information Buck will be covering each day. He will start with groundwork in the morning class and will progress as the class allows. The afternoon class will be riding from the start and will work on learning how to feel and time up with their horse as Buck directs them to perform basic maneuvers. No clinic is ever the same. It all depends on what presents itself to be fixed up. All the clinic days are great to attend as Buck is amazing to watch and listen to... He tells great stories and gives invaluable information all day, every day. It's the same rate per day if you come for 1 day or all 3 days. Watching the horses and riders transform from day 1 to day 3 is a great experience.
Foundation Horsemanship ~ 9am-noon: This class is valuable for everyone! During each of the 3 day sessions half of the class is dedicated to students working their horse from the ground in preparation for riding, with the second half of the class horseback. Snaffle bit is encouraged. 25 riders + sponsors.
Horsemanship one ~ 1:30-4:30pm: All levels of riders and horses ~ no matter what discipline ~ will benefit from this class. All maneuvers stress the Vaquero style of riding and are appropriate for horses from the first level snaffle to experienced bridle horses. Students ride their own horse. 25 riders + sponsors.
We have been learning about this style of horsemanship for 20 years now, and we learn more at every clinic we attend as Buck has so much information to share and the human mind can only take in so much at one time. We have been participants and spectators at many clinics year after year since we met Buck in 2001, as the learning continues every clinic attended. We believe that proper groundwork is a very important part for people to learn. So, we always choose to have the Foundation class available at our clinic for the participants and spectators alike.
It’s all bleacher/bench style general seating, so it’s first come, first serve for your spot on the bench, no worries about not getting a seat though, as we do have plenty of seating for all. If you have seat cushions and/or stadium seats with back rests your welcome to bring them. If you have special needs, please let us know ahead of time and we will accommodate you as best we can.
Mt. Hood Center 29450 Lariat Ln. Boring, OR 97009 ~ located in-between Sandy and Gresham

- There will be concessions available for your convenience.

Buck’s Clinic flyer will be posted above, in the green box. It will be available for you to print or share should you know of a great location to post it to help spread the word Buck will be back in the Valley this summer! Black and white print is fine for the clinic flyer if you prefer. We appreciate any help spreading the word that Buck will be here. Our hope is that one day we won't hear people say," oh I wish I would have known he was going to be here".
We very much look forward to hearing from you and truly hope you'll join us this coming summer to Welcome Buck back to Oregon. We always try our best to make this a great clinic for all.
Warm Regards,
Deanna & Rylee
